LUCY WANG | Non-executive Director
Lucy joined the Board as a director in January 2023. She currently works as a Business Analyst at Velrada. Lucy brings expertise in digital strategy and implementation, solution design and requirements solicitation. She also holds a Masters in Professional Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) and Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia. Lucy previously served as WAUC's Chief Executive Officer.
Dakota hinch-WoodS | Non-executive Director
Dakota joined the Board as a Director in 2026. She currently works as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. Dakota brings experience in management consulting, sustainability, financial analysis, and non-profit project delivery. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, majoring in Finance and Environmental Management, and previously served as WAUC’s Chief Executive Officer.
Julian Sanders | Non-executive Director
Julian joined the board as a director in November 2021. He currently works as a Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills. Julian brings experience in corporate and commercial law, whilst also serving as a non-executive director for the WA Justice Association. He also holds a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Australia, and previously served as WAUC’s Chief Executive Officer.
Angus Macleod | Non-executive Director
Angus joined the board as a Director in February 2022. He currently works as a consultant with Nous Group. Angus brings experience in corporate finance, data analytics, and strategic design. He holds a Masters of Business Analytics and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, and previously served as WAUC’s Chief Financial Officer.
clea sanders | Non-executive Director
Clea joined the board as a director in February 2022. She currently works as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. Clea brings experience in applied economic research, project evaluation, and public policy. She holds a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) degree in Political Science and French from the University of Western Australia, and previously served as WAUC's Volunteers Manager.
EJAY Bitangcol | Non-executive Director
Ejay joined the Board as a director in September 2024. He currently works as an Associate at the Boston Consulting Group. Ejay brings experience in applied economic research, data analysis and project evaluation. He holds a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Western Australia, and previously served as WAUC’s Recruitment Manager
Divya Bappoo | NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Divya joined the Board as a director in July 2024. She currently works as an Analyst at Social Ventures Australia. Divya brings experience in NFP consulting, especially program evaluations and strategy planning and implementation. She also holds a Masters in Applied Finance and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia. Divya previously worked as a Consultant in the Infrastructure Advisory team at EY.
NialL Rhatigan | NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
A dual citizen of Ireland and Australia, Niall is a community services professional with over 20 years' experience. He has worked at Wungening Aboriginal Corporation since 2018 and currently holds the role of Specialist Manager, Implementation & Quality. Niall is a Director of Simply Helping (Lower North Perth), a health and social assistance service, specializing in Aged Care and the NDIS. Niall is passionate about progressing Closing the Gap targets, ending homelessness, and enabling change in how we perceive and deliver mental health services.
Marie-Claire Bennetts | NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Marie Claire joined the board as a director in 2026. She currently leads communications and philanthropy at the Lions Eye Institute, bringing over 25 years’ experience across the not-for-profit, education, research and finance sectors. Marie Claire holds an MBA from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, and has served on several advisory and governance boards. Marie Claire has several notable achievements including managing major corporate partnerships, leading capital campaigns across education and mining, and has previously worked in Sydney’s finance sector at Bankers Trust.
